Our journey began with a love for gardening and floral design, and it’s been our mission ever since to create dreamy, romantic floral experiences that tell a story. Welcome, I’m Becca!
As the lead designer, I love making every magical design come to life. There’s nothing more special than seeing a bride’s face light up when they see their flowers for the first time! When I’m not working with flowers, you’ll find me in my early childhood autism spectrum disorder classroom, where I’m a special education teacher to my absolute, most favorite tiniest human beings!!
I’m passionate about creating whimsical designs right from our garden or from other local growers!

I love traveling with my husband to visit and spend time with our adult children.
Cozy movie nights at home with our daughter are some of my favorite moments.
Fun shoes (especially if I find a good sale) and big earrings are my thing!
I cherish spending sweet summer days at my parents' lake home in northern Minnesota.
Hi, I’m Kait!
As the head flower grower, I love meticulously creating dreamy garden color palettes that are perfect for your special day. I love it so much that I even took over my amazing neighbor’s yard! When I’m not frolicking through the garden, you’ll find me snuggling up on the couch to work on nerdy website stuff and creating a community with other local small businesses.
I’m passionate about creating systems to help our business thrive and am a multitasker to the core. I absolutely love spending time with my family and having a good time exploring all the Lansing area has to offer.

THE SPARROW BLOOM STORY
Sparrow Bloom was born in 2020, a year when the world needed beauty and connection more than ever. What started as a simple idea to grow flowers for Becca’s son’s wedding turned into a business that brought joy to our community. In one evening, we came together, crafted a name and logo, and started a floral journey that continues to blossom.
In the summer of 2023, we opened our storefront in Lansing, a space where we can bring our floral designs to life every day. While we still grow as many flowers as possible in our small urban garden, we also partner with incredible local growers to bring you the freshest blooms throughout the growing season.
