Our journey began with a love for gardening and floral design, and it’s been our mission ever since to create dreamy, romantic floral experiences that tell a story. We specialize in bringing your wedding and event visions to life with fresh, locally grown blooms, thoughtful design, and a personal touch that makes every arrangement unique.
Welcome, I’m Becca!
As the lead designer with over a decade of experience, I’m passionate about bringing floral visions to life. Whether it’s a wedding, special event, or custom arrangement, I love working with locally grown flowers to create something unique and meaningful.
Color is my thing — my training in color theory helps me craft perfect floral palettes, and I enjoy helping couples plan their wedding florals to reflect their style. I also love teaching floral design workshops and sharing my knowledge with others.
When I'm not designing, I'm spending quality time with my family, cherishing every moment with my loved ones!

I’m a special education teacher, and I love working with my little ones.
I love traveling with my husband to visit our grown kids and enjoying cozy movie nights at home.
I’m a sucker for fun shoes (especially a good sale) and bold earrings.
The whole family visiting my parents' lake home in Minnesota during the summer is one of my very favorite things!
Hi, I’m Kait!
I’m passionate about marketing and operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Growing flowers is still one of my favorite things, and I love bringing them into the shop for weddings and special occasions.
When I’m not managing systems, I’m tinkering on our website, collaborating with local businesses, designing structural mechanics for floral installations, or hanging out at the shop. As a multitasker, I enjoy balancing all the moving parts.

THE SPARROW BLOOM STORY
Sparrow Bloom was born in 2020, a year when the world needed beauty and connection more than ever. What started as a simple idea to grow flowers for Becca’s son’s wedding turned into a business that brought joy to our community. In one evening, we came together, crafted a name and logo, and started a floral journey that continues to blossom.
In the summer of 2023, we opened our storefront in Lansing, a space where we can bring our floral designs to life every day. While we still grow as many flowers as possible in our small urban garden, we also partner with incredible local growers to bring you the freshest blooms throughout the growing season.
